Early Saturday morning the chilly weather did not prevent Fort Valley State University alumni, their children, the community and students from experiencing the annual Homecoming parade. This year’s theme, “Thriller in the Valley,” was inspired by the date of the homecoming football game on Halloween, Oct. 31. Anxious viewers lined the streets to witness the parade’s many thrilling acts and performances.
