State University’s annual homecoming comedy
show took place on Oct. 27 in the Pettigrew Center.
The event DJ’s
were D.J. Cxin and D.J. Ola, the duo had the audience dancing and having
fun while waiting for the show to start.
Comedian Lav Luv, who hosted the event, had great energy and
immediately set the mood for the event. The featured comedians were Sean
Larkins and Steve Brown. Both were very
entertaining. The comedians not only
told jokes, but also made sure to give advice especially to FVSU freshman
class.
Brown advised freshman to not enter college set on what
exactly you believe their lives will be, because, it will grow and change
throughout the years. He said that the career you think that want to pursue might
not be that career that is meant for you. Brown also went on to explain that
going to a Historically Black College and University experience like no other.
FVSU student Eugene Ramone McFadden said, “It was a great show
they covered every aspect possible. And it gave us some enlightenment.”
